Meet Dr. Angela Schweiger

A personable, outgoing and enthusiastic board-certified dentist, Dr. Schweiger is passionate about ensuring that her patients develop and maintain excellent oral health. She relishes embracing the challenges and opportunities that each new day in dentistry bring her, and she works tirelessly so that her patients can feel healthy, satisfied and confident whenever they flash a smile. As a new mother and experienced children's general dentist, Dr. Schweiger strives to make all components of the dental visit exciting, fun, educational and as painless as possible for her younger patients.

After graduating from Georgetown College with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, Dr. Schweiger completed her dental studies and DMD degree at the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry. She continues to enhance her knowledge of dentistry and stay abreast of the latest developments in her field by regularly attending continuing education courses throughout the country. Dr. Schweiger is a member of the American Dental Association, the South Carolina Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.

Helping to decrease your anxiety is important and we do so by providing you with easy-to-understand educational materials, a non-threatening environment, various sedation techniques - if you so choose - and a nearly painless experience.

Recent Community Functions We Have Been Involved In

• Longleaf Middle School Career Day -- educated 6th, 7th, and 8th graders on the different career options in the field of dentistry.
• Richland County School District II 5K Run/Walk -- to promote good oral health as well as strong overall health.
• Sponsorship of a Basketball, Soccer, and Tee Ball teams for Summer 2009 at North Springs Park Recreation Center.
